Singapore, with a population of 4.8 million, has close to 50 museums. On 29th September 2008, National Heritage Board announced the launch of Hi2P, which stands for Heritage Industry Incentive Programme. This programme provides seed funding of S$8 million over the next five years to those who can come up with new and innovative heritage-inspired products and services.
Hi2P supports up to 50% or $100,000 (whichever is lower) of development costs for private heritage and museum projects. Find out more, here.
I feel that there is a need to set up a quirky museum for sexually depraved Singaporeans. Asians keep their sexual desires bottled. With the opening of a sex museum, the public will have a healthy attitude towards sex, ....perhaps boost the country's population. :P

I have a wonderful day at the National Museum with a group of foreign friends and my family on Hari Raya Day. Everyone enjoyed the tour. I have some lovely photos to put up.... but I don't want them to be simply displayed and forgotten... I want to bring attention to them, so I need to create buzz. :)

I feel that there are too many museums in Singapore and many are not visited by the locals.
A waste of public funds? The money could help many less fortunate families.
When the economy is bad, citizens are more concerned where the money from their daily meals and education of their kids are coming from. Who has the leisure to visit more heritage-inspired museums?
Sex museum how quaint it would have some real old items and probably since there been people on this earth been trying to come excited with sex.
I know the area I live in and if a sex museum went here people would be up in arms.

I have visited the first sex museum in China and it has a great collection of ancient sex relics. An eye opener to see how people enjoyed the 'sports' in the old days. The history lessons were interesting.
I believe with a sex museum in Singapore, many citizens would benefit from it, not just the young but the old as well.

Surprising ah! China has its own sex museum, but it is visited mostly by foreigners. The locals are too shy and embarrassed to be seen in there. :P
